Field Assistant (FGM)

(NGOs Component)

Duties and Responsibilities..

  1. Monitor and follow up activities of NGOs.
  2. Provide reports to the NGOs Coordinator thus indicating impact at grass root level regarding attitudes toward FGM.
  3. Extend change of experience among the different Governorates on best practices on abandoning FGM.
  4. Support Central Media Personnel on bringing stories from the field thus inducing the National Dialogue on FGM in the National Media Channels.
  5. Support Project Team in coordination of FGM events at the governorate levels.
  6. Attend all training courses required by project team.

 

Experience, Qualifications and Abilities..

  1. Field experience: The candidate must have a significant real experience as a field worker with grass root communities.
  2. Experience in dealing with civil society organizations.
  3. Experience in training, capacity building, or community awareness projects and programs.
  4. Courtesy to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of different backgrounds.
  5. Ability to work as part of a team and to have high sense of responsibility.
  6. Ability to plan and organize work.
  7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Ability to present works clearly and be able to face public
  8. Ability to negotiate and convince others.
  9. Availability to travel extensively in the country.
